conversion tag for tracking

::MOTIVATION::

Many websites end up receiving more leads through calls than contact forms. This makes it difficult to track and count the conversions that your Google Ads have generated. So how can we resolve this situation?

With call conversion tracking on your site!

It can help you identify and account for calls made from your website when someone accesses it via one of your Google Ads. By installing a code, the system generates a dummy number (Google call forwarding numbers) that redirects to your company's business number. This way, you can see which specific ads, keywords, campaigns and ad groups generated that call conversion, getting a better view of the influence of Ads on your leads via offline calling.

::STEP BY STEP::

STEP 1/3

Open the HTML of the page where the phone number is displayed on your website.

STEP 2/3

Cole o código de rastreio entre as tags de título (<head></head>) da página:

ATTENTION: This code is just an example! If you want to implement this tag, ask our team for the code and we'll send you the right one.

<script type=”text/javascript”>
(function(a,e,c,f,g,h,b,d){var k={ak:”COMPLETE_COM_ID“,cl:”COMPLETE_COM_RÓTULO“};a[c]=a[c]||function(){(a[c].q=a[c].q||[]).push(arguments)};a[g]||(a[g]=k.ak);b=e.createElement(h);b.async=1;b.src=”//www.gstatic.com/wcm/loader.js”;d=e.getElementsByTagName(h)[0];d.parentNode.insertBefore(b,d);a[f]=function(b,d,e){a[c](2,b,k,d,null,new Date,e)};a[f]()})(window,document,”_googWcmImpl”,”_googWcmGet”,”_googWcmAk”,”script”);
</script>

STEP 3/3

Add the code to replace your number with a Google call forwarding number, according to the instructions in the Google Help Center. You should add a second snippet of JavaScript code to your website using the "_googWcmGet()" function with these parameters:

_googWcmGet(target, business_number, options)

This will replace the phone number on your website with a Google call forwarding number whenever someone accesses your site after clicking on your ad
